Gliding

Studentensportlimburg is organizing some GLIDING initiations for students in cooperation with gliding club ALBATROS. (http://www.zweefvliegen-hasselt.be/)

Sessions will take place on following dates:

Thursday 24 May from 17u till 20u
Thursday 31 May from 17u till 20u

Organization:

20 students can participate during 1 session. These students are communicated on time about the correct information. (it is possible that due to weather conditions the activity cannot take place!)

Location:

This activity will take place in Kiewit with gliding club Albatros.
Address; Luchtvaartstraat 100, 3500 Hasselt

Make sure you come to the gliding club and not to the regular fly club! The entrance is located some further in that street, follow the curb and please look at this link for more information: http://www.zweefvliegen-hasselt.be/Vliegveld (entrance close to number 27 on the pictures).

Payment:

You can participate for 20 euro (normal price is 60 euro). You have to pay cash (please bring the right amount), on the spot with the sports coordinator who will be there with the list of participants.

What in case of bad weather conditions?

Gliding can only take place in good weather conditions. Sometimes when security cannot be guaranteed the gliding is cancelled but remember gliding is a very safe sport because of these regulations.

When the conditions are not favourable, the activity will be moved to another time and date and this will be communicated clearly in advance. You will only be contacted when the gliding can NOT take place.
